We define Ministry as giving any kind of assistance or service to a person in need in the name of Jesus. For us service is the highest goal for our membership. We would strive to place all in a ministry they can be passionate about for God.
“Go and make disciples of all nations” Matthew 28:19
It is the mandate of the church to be an ark of safety in a lost world. We are called to bring people to Jesus through the spreading of the Gospel.
Our Ministry/Outreach Lay Pastor – Bob Morris
We look to reach out to all our community & be the point of impact where God’s grace meets their need.
Evangelism – This team leads the church in the process of reaching out with the Gospel of Jesus. We look for people with gifts & insight on how we may assess our community’s need so we may meet them & invite them in. They also are in charge of our face to the community & how better to relate to them.
Mission – This team leads the church with short & long term projects here at home & abroad. At home we seek to help anyone with physical limitations yet with needs such as yard work, trash removal, home cleaning & repair, just to name a few. We will advertise & recruit a team, then set a date(s) for the project & carry it out.
We also plan and implement mission trips abroad for our church to experience mission in foreign fields. The trips have various projects in each including construction, Vacation Bible Schools, medical & dental clinics, & evangelistic events. Recent trips have included church building in Ojo Caliente, Mexico & our most recent in Poptun, Guatemala where we participated in a wide range of projects for the Manos Ayudadoras (God’s Helping Hands) Clinic in the village of Machaquila.

Health – This team reaches out to the community with the Abundant Life where it concerns our health. We sponsor yearly health programs designed to present practical ways to improve our health. These programs include CHIP (Complete Health Improvement Project), The Full Plate Diet, Depression the Way Out, & RadKids children’s health program.
Parish Nursing – Our nursing team regularly visits members and helps with managing their acute & chronic medical needs. They provide loving care and keep the church in touch with those in need.
Prayer Team – This is a team of prayer warriors providing intercessory prayer for our church & community. We provide opportunities to exercise gifts of prayer & grow our prayer lives with programs like Straight to the Heart.
