Welcome to Gracepoint Adventist Church!
Our mission is to meet people where they are and help them grow in Christ.
We believe that like everything else God created you and you were born to grow. We believe in growing people, and our people are what makes the difference.
Here is a simplified picture of what we try to do:
- We desire to see people changed by meeting Jesus.
- We desire to see people called to minister for the growth of His kingdom.
- We desire to see people equipped to minister with excellence and sent out to change their world.
Our commitment to you —
- Our congregation will welcome you.
- Our music will uplift you and will honor God.
- Our teaching will be Biblical and relevant.
- Our children’s ministries will value your child.
- Our service will be a blessing to you and your family.
About our Pastors
Walter Groff has been with Gracepoint church for over two decades. His focus has been on creating a church that is open and accepting to anyone who would like to come, while challenging everyone at Gracepoint to become more like Jesus than the culture around us. Pastor Walt has been in ministry in Northern California since finishing seminary. He is the father of five adult children and six grandchildren. He and his wife Brenda enjoy traveling and spending time together. Pastor Walt’s love for discovering new things and share them with others is reflected in his preaching and teaching ministries here at Gracepoint.
Tim McMillen is an associate pastor at Gracepoint, focusing on Youth Ministry. Before coming to Gracepoint in 2016, Tim served as a youth pastor, high school chaplain, teacher and lead pastor in Kansas, Nebraska and California. Tim loves to see young people realize the personal relationship that Jesus desires to have with them. Music has always been a part of Tim’s life. In college he studied music with an emphasis in percussion and played bass in a Christian band. In his free time you can find him sailing, fishing or tying flies.
